Patch Testing New Products
While we create our products with only natural and gentle ingredients we still always recommend that customers PATCH TEST products before they introduce them into their daily beauty regime. Patch Testing ensures your new product suits your skin and means that were you to develop a reaction you would be able to discover it without causing unnecessary discomfort. To patch test a product, apply a small amount to the inner arm and leave for 24hrs and observe for any reactions. If none occur, repeat this process on the neck, applying a small amount and leaving for 24hrs and check for a reaction. If the area of skin looks healthy and feels lovely then you're good to go! For further details on oils used in aromatherapy, visit
I have a nut allergy. Are your products safe to use?
Please check the ingredients in each product before ordering. Be advised that our products are prepared in an environment where nut ingredients are used.
Can your products be used during pregnancy?
Our products contain essential oils and if you are pregnant or breastfeeding we recommend that you seek medical advice from a doctor or midwife before use. We strongly recommend not using any products that contain essential oils during your first trimester.
What is special about your soap bars?
Our soap is all handmade from start to finish and we use the cold process method using only the finest natural ingredients. Each bar needs to cure for six weeks before being ready to use.
How long will you skincare products last?
We recommend using our skincare products within 12 months of purchase although it's best to use them up within 3 months of opening.
This product seems different to the one I bought before?
Because all of our ingredients are natural, occasionally there can be variances in batches. For example, one crop of lavender might be stronger than another, which will have a small impact on the fragrance of the product. Unfortunately there is very little we can do to control this, but be assured that we source the finest natural ingredients with organic certification.

Why organic?
We want to be a business that stands for simplicity, high quality and sustainability. We believe in organic farming because they produce crops by using only environmentally and animal-friendly methods. They prohibit the use of synthetic fertilisers and severely restrict pesticides, meaning that crops are fertilised naturally by crop rotation, compost and manure. It's much better for the environment and many people are turning to organic farming because factory farming is often cruel and unsustainable. Our products are not certified organic but almost all of our ingredients are certified organic which we source from a combination of suppliers in the United Kingdom and overseas.
Are your products tested on animals?
Our products are never tested on animals.
Are your products suitable for vegans and vegetarians?
All of our products are suitable for vegetarians and the majority of our products are suitable for vegans. The products that are not suitable for vegans are our skin balms and lip balms, both of which include beeswax.

How do I enjoy my candle safely?
Please follow a few simple instructions for best results.
+ Always trim the wick to 5mm before lighting.
+ Place your candle on a heatproof surface.
+ Keep candles out of the reach of children and pets.
+ Leave a 50mm gap between each candles.
+ Allow the candle to burn for between 2 - 4 hours to allow the wax to melt up to the glass.
+ Do not touch a hot candle.
+ Keep your candles away from draughts.
+ Never leave a burning candle unattended.
+ Extinguish the flame with a snuffer and straighten the wick if necessary.
+ Do not relight a candle containing less than 7mm of wax.
What kind of wax are the candles made from?
Our candles are 100% natural and are made from soy wax and pure essential oils. The soy wax we use is free from pesticides and herbicides and genetically modified material. Most candle manufacturers use paraffin wax (some call it mineral wax because it sounds nicer) because it's cheap but it isn't very good for you.
What are your wicks made from?
We use cotton wicks.
Why do your candles look slightly different?
Our candles are all blended and poured by hand so they can look slightly different from batch to batch. The wax may contain tiny bubbles, swirls and slight frosting but this is normal for natural wax and nothing to worry about.
