In the early stages of setting up Nathalie Bond Organics, Nat and Andy discovered that over 20,000 children under the age of five die every day from preventable causes. It’s an issue that is very close to their hearts because their first son was born six weeks early and without the expert care freely available in the UK he would not have survived. Consequently, the Bonds decided to dedicate a proportion of their profits to improving the lives of children living in poverty. Directed by their faith in a God that cares deeply about human beings, Nat and Andy choose to work with charities that enable them to support individuals and families. So, every time you support Nathalie Bond Organics, you also support…
Arpita was the first child we sponsored and she is a very similar age to the Bond’s eldest son. It is wonderful to see the parallels between Alfie and Arpita as they both grow. Arpita lives in India, in a community that faces malnutrition, fear of serious illness, poor hygiene and a lack of education. Thanks to the work of World Vision
, she now has access to clean water, better food and a well-equipped local school.
is a volunteer-led charity that helps new mothers and families who are struggling with the financial and practical pressures a new arrival can bring. The team works alongside other frontline professionals (midwives, social workers etc.) to provide essentials and equipment to those who are unable to access these items themselves. Nat’s first son was premature, so she understands first-hand the importance of having a network of support around you when the birth of your child isn’t ideal.
In 2017 we have plans to support more children and charities, watch this space…
