The less is more approach that we adopt at Nathalie Bond can still see our customers feeling a little confused if they have come from a more complicated approach to skin care. So, this blog post is intended to help break down easily how to use our range for your day to day facial skincare needs.

The only element we don’t provide in our range is a make-up remover, but we like to use our own Balm to remove make up before commencing the 3 steps below:

Step 1 Use the Nathalie Bond Cleansing Oil to remove make up. Apply a small amount of cleansing oil onto dry skin, using clean fingertips. Gently massage the oil onto your face in circular motions, working it into your skin to break down makeup and impurities. Wet a washcloth with warm water and wring it out thoroughly. Place the washcloth over your face and let it sit for a few seconds, allowing the steam to help open your pores. Use the warm washcloth to gently wipe away the oil and makeup, using upward motions to avoid tugging on your skin. Rinse the washcloth with warm water and repeat as needed until all traces of oil and makeup are removed. Finish by splashing your face with cool water to close your pores, patting your skin dry with a clean towel.

Step 2 Spritz face with the Bloom Face Mist. When we are thirsty we drink water – same goes for the skin. It needs to be fed water daily to keep our hyaluronic flow stimulated then when our skin needs moisture it produces oil. By combining the mist and face oil you have all you need to give your skin the lift it needs. Additionally, when skin feels tight or tired in the day, give it another spritz of the rose mist to give it a pick me up. Do remember to drink lots of water too!

Step 3 After cleansing and toning, gently massage a few drops of Face Oil onto your face, neck and décolletage with your fingertips. The easily absorbed facial oil helps minimise the appearance of fine lines and leaves skin feeling softer and smoother. We recommend our face oil for facial moisturising as we use richer oils in the ingredients and also don’t add essential oils which can be an irritant to some of our customers. However, if you prefer to use a scented oil on your face, it is perfectly safe to use any of the other oils we sell on the face. Our Balm can also be used on the face, and have been a great hit with customers who struggle with more problematic skin or become more suitable in the winter months when skin can become more flaky and dry and enjoys deeper nourishment.
